The Community You Will Join:

Data Analytics team at Airbnb Capability Center with focus on building a functional vision and promoting the use of data in making important decisions. You will report to Manager, Analytics.

A Typical Day:

• Manage projects from start to end: build timelines and important milestones, provide regular updates to Analytics Management partners and achieve delivery against agreed upon specs
• Collaborate with all global Analytics functions and partners
• Lead complete project management efforts - prioritize work within the team, ensure the standard of deliverables, meet timelines, run plans for higher efficiency and progress, track team's utilization and other project management activities
• Deliver independently and with your team, high quality interactive dashboards that meet partners' needs with for data visualization
• Support ad-hoc requests and advanced analytics projects with efficient methods, appropriate analytical techniques, and best-in-class outputs
• Promote responsibility within the team and manage partners' expectations
• People management - directly and indirectly manage your team. Hire and retain talent. Build people's career paths, learning and growth in the team and organization
• Manage India and Global partners with proactiveness, by setting the right expectations and meeting their needs

Your Expertise:

• Overall experience in Analytics in the range of 7 till 9 years
• 5 years of people and project management in Analytics and reporting, handling diverse teams and projects
• Experience working in a globally distributed team.
• Articulate insights with all kinds of data consumers including senior leadership Graduate in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative fields
• Deep logical thinking experience to create analytical solutions for business problems - both ad-hocs and advanced/statistical analytics
• Good experience of different kinds of analytical solution offerings
• Expertise in Tableau (or other BI tools), maintaining enterprise level dashboards.
• Passion for Data Visualization and driving user adoption of dashboards
• Experience with data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming and validating assumptions
• Excellent SQL skills and comfortable using Git, Python Impeccable attention and commitment to efficient execution, creating clean reproducible codes, working files, automation, documentation
