Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Business Development, China, your main responsibility is to explore the market to build market presence for Wiley’s solution offerings with the ultimate objective of delivering revenue targets. You are required to set and implement the go-to-market strategy and lead activities covering the whole Account Management cycle. Part of your responsibility also involves leading partnership and/or strategic targets initiatives. You will also need to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders such as regulators, associations, companies, global and regional Account Management and marketing teams. Furthermore, you will provide clients’ feedback to the Product and Content Development teams to enhance Wiley – and in particular – China-related offerings. In addition, you will develop strategic marketing plans to build brand awareness.

You should possess at least a university degree (preferably in Business or Management), with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience. In addition to having strong interpersonal and networking skills, you have an acute sense of cultural awareness and possess strong negotiation, influencing and communication skills in English and Chinese. You are results-oriented and able to think strategically and creatively. You possess the ability to generate leads for new business and partnership opportunities, have experience in developing a successful business case and be able to create and deliver winning proposal presentations.
