The AWS Greater China (GC) Sales Strategy, Operation and Enablement (SSOE) team is looking for a Senior Business Ops Manager for Strategic Planning. This role will own GCR annual planning process including but not limit to account and territory planning and quota planning, segmentation policy and rules governance, process enhancement, partner with WWRO S&P team to drive operational excellence and tools automation. This role will partner with all GCR stakeholders including Sales, function team, Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, and global Revenue Ops and Finance team.
The ideal candidate is a systems-thinker with super strong analytical skill who can connect the dots and is able to identify opportunity from data insight to improve the productivity and efficiency along with AWS business rapid growth. This candidate is a self-starter who is process-oriented and able to excel at influencing teams and stakeholders to drive change. You do not shy away from ambiguity and complex problems, slicing and dicing massive sets of information, and creating solutions to problems that have not been tackled yet.


Key job responsibilities
• Manage GCR Annual Planning end-to-end process to deliver high quality customer, territory and quota assignment, by driving other Ops peers to work as a team.
• Drive benchmarking analysis for our practices both GCR and WW against best-in-class operations, and initiates the enhancement program.
• Perform customer/partner needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing processes to support the expansion of virtual operations in different BUs.
• Act as GCR SME to partner with WW team to land entire AWS annual planning tools, process, policies etc. and tail-made for GCR unique requirement.
• Translate the sales strategy from leadership team to the planning work and iterate the customer segmentation rules, MDU (Minimum development unit) design etc.
• Manage GCR customer segmentation related policies and enhance the execution, strength governance.
