Job Description

Microsoft is looking for energized Program Managers to join the Microsoft Devices Supply Chain (MDSC) Capabilities PM team within the Devices organization, responsible for delivering cutting edge supply chain capabilities that exceed our customer expectations.

Microsoft Devices is chartered with the design, manufacturing and distribution of all Microsoft hardware including Xbox, Surface & products of the future. The pace of innovation and transformation within Supply Chain is rapid as Microsoft continues the journey from a software company toward a product and productivity company - building new business models, new fulfilment channels, new markets and exciting new products and services that help people and businesses throughout the world do more.

The growth of our business requires scalable tools and data to better optimize and connect our supply chain. As such, we are moving our tools and processes into the cloud (Azure and Azure Data Lake). It is crucial to have a senior program manager who takes ownership, understands the business strategy and objectives, and relentlessly partners with our engineering teams to take our supply chain tools to the next level!

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the Microsoft Devices Supply Chain Tooling roadmap, and associated data flows, to ensure we are building the right solutions/features to realize our organizational and key stakeholder’s objectives.
  • Act as the primary representative between the Supply Chain business stakeholders and our core engineering partners, including formalizing their needs and communicating to key partners and the extended leadership team on the state of asks and the results of deployed enhancements.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of, the identified enhancements including ensuring appropriate business requirement gathering, prioritization, solution design review, user acceptance testing (UAT), roll-out, and hyper care.
  • Ensures delivered projects which meet compliance standards and ensures the measured delivery of results for our top targeted quality, cost, and customer experience KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to impact & influence key stakeholders.
  • Cloud-based tooling and workflow experience at scale, along with underlying data validations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across technology and business teams, with a focus on workflow tooling.
  • Do you have a Bachelors Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or similar degree? 
  • 4+ years of building business + technology solutions.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes, flows, and data architectures is a plus.
