Job Responsibilities Acts as a liaison between business users and technical teams to identify, analyze, and translate requirements into high quality solutions. Uses experience and domain knowledge to help ensure the accuracy of the fit of the proposed solution to the business needs. Contributes to the documentation of business cases and ROIs, consulting with the business in order to propose recommendations for senior management approval. Assesses and evaluates system functionality to meet business requests, including requirements gathering, documentation, design and configuration, unit and system testing, as well as provides excellent service and support to internal and external customers. Works with cross-functional teams tasked with solving business issues which require a technical solution, providing subject matter expertise with regards to system functionality and capabilities for stakeholders. Participates in meetings to help review, evaluate, and/or propose new business opportunities through the implementation/enhancement of technical solutions, which are intended to improve customer relationships, operating efficiencies, and/or add business benefits. Analyzes information and assists in prioritizing requirements to gain an understanding of the business needs in order to provide recommendations for solutions. Creates detailed business process maps based on requirements. Structures and develops test plans (e.g. test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system and/or acceptance testing in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements. Assists in the management of user acceptance testing to ensure original requirements are met. Complies with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures including AbbVie SLC and SOX requirements. Conducts training. Helps to identify process disconnects and translate them into improvement opportunities with cost savings or avoidance, productivity improvements, or revenue generating business benefits. Performs analysis on and Identifies the impact of any relevant statutory, internal or external regulations on the organization's use of information. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelors degree plus 5 years technical experience, or Masters degree plus 4 years experience. Will consider 9 years work experience in related technical roles. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organization skills Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and business process development skills Demand Planning, and Order Management processes background and understanding required; Revenue Management experience (e.g. Model N) is also preferred Preferred experience with the Valuecentric platform and their various service offerings Preferred experience with / understanding of relevant EDI processes and SAP/TIBCO interfaces Preferred experience with Commercial Finance related applications & processes Preferred previous pharma or healthcare domain expertise Preferred experience in software quality assurance and IT systems compliance Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel No Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code IC Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
