Your main responsibilities: Balancing current and future demand requirements with supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements Minimising any cost increase by working with the Commodity Management team to adhere to standard costs Expediting supplier material, where required, to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements Working closely with Quality to coordinate the return, rework, or exchange of defective materials Providing training/support to new or more junior members of the department Driving savings projects Negotiating with suppliers and building strong relationships to effectively manage the strategic sourcing/buying process Qualifications Qualifications - External Your essential skills we are looking for: Previous experience in a procurement function ideally from a manufacturing environment Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding purchasing, logistics, incoming product inspection and inventory control ERP/MRP experience Excellent communication skill and able to lead change in a team environment What we offer to you: Competitive compensation and benefits package Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologies.
