Job Purpose职位目的：

• Develop and qualify suppliers in China for purchasing of parts for all RRPS Production sites worldwide

Key Accountabilities主要职责：

• Identify suitable suppliers for engine components for local production and export

• Visit suppliers and evaluate capability of the supplier

• Sourcing market research and follow supply chain trends in China and Asia Pacific

• Working in projects

• Develop commodity strategies based on global procurement strategy

• Develop regional procurement strategies (China and Asia excl. India) based on the RRPS production concept and the regionally available goods and services

• Conduct research into procurement markets in China and Asia and monitoring the market and price development (worldwide)

• Recruit, select and invite suitable suppliers to tender for the MTU engine/system program

• Realize savings potential where identified

• Significantly expand procurement scopes within China

• Purchase materials for production with high attention to cost-effectiveness, quality, schedules, prices and quantities

• Build up and sustain supplier-costumer relationship

• Regular exchange with MTU in Germany, MTU in USA and RR Bergen in Norway to build up suppliers for export business

• Organize technical meetings between engineering department in Germany and Chinese suppliers and provide technical support

• Procurement of components for trial, prototype and pre-production series

• Support in qualification process

• Regular price and contract negotiations with suppliers

• Pre-Audit at suppliers

• Evaluate and select suppliers (in cooperation with all locations)

• Evaluate manufacturing processes at the suppliers (with quality / supplier development) and initiate corrective actions if necessary

• Form and develop strategic suppliers

• Seek and assure supplier compliance to all RRPS contractual expectations

• Conclusion of supply contracts (framework agreements) including agreements pertaining to quality, capacities, rejects and rework regulations

• Monitor supplier and identify risks for business continuity

• Any other assignment from time to time 其他工作安排

Key Experiences and any Qualifications职位主要经验和技能要求：

• Bachelor or above graduate in Engineering or similar, or possess equivalent qualifications

• At least 8 years relevant working experience

• Good command of both spoken & written English, good at office softwares

• Experience in purchasing, quality and supply chain management

• Experience in the identification and development of suppliers ( casting/ forging)

• Good technical understanding

• General understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards

• Knowledge of standard business and contract terms

• Knowledge of MTU – products spectrum (can be trained)

• Willing to travel within China, Asia and overseas ( ~40%)
