Job Description

Key Job Accountabilities:

Senior buyer / Assistant Manager manages several categories of Hair Care packaging components in Asia Pacific region.

1.Responsible for component sourcing of new launch, support and ensure launch to be on time with the right cost.

2.Responsible for driving cost saving projects to happen, collaborating with all related departments, and following, optimizing purchasing price.

3.Risk Assessment capabilities to anticipate the crisis to secure business

4.Responsible for budget set-up, trend following and PPV controlling.

5.Responsible for driving year-over-year cost reductions with commercial and technical interventions.

6.Responsible for all commercial aspects including purchasing assessment, negotiations, contracts and supplier relationship development.

7.Responsible for some specific assigned transversal projects like Wall-to-Wall

8.Responsible for quality and supply chain improvements by leading virtual cross functional team

9.Involved in the synergy creations in the global context with other sourcing zones such as Europe.

Technical and Professional Competencies Required:

1. Minimum 4-6 years of sourcing/purchasing or packaging experience in MNC, packaging material sourcing experience will be a plus.

2. Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferred fields go like Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Economics.

3. Good team player, excellent interpersonal communications in English.

4. Self-motivated attitude towards professionalism and capable to manage complexities.

5. Can-do attitude with positive mindsets, result-driven, adapted with diversified working conditions

6. Travel requirements: Up to 30%, depending on the assigned projects.
