In this role, you have the opportunity to

Use your skills and experience in a high paced, dynamic Global Operational Material Management Organization that is responsible for getting the right parts to the right place at the right time.

You will manage availability of material through the proper material Master Data setup, capacity planning and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers, and mitigation of supply risks and issues.

You are responsible for

  • Tactical material planning (forecasting and prompt feedback) with Internal & External Suppliers and Distribution Centers in an optimized way using planning calculation methods

  • Driving Customer Demand Fulfillment by ensuring material availability in the Supply Chain

  • Operational material planning and Purchase Order management

  • Identifying supply risks & issues and driving mitigation actions and escalations if needed

  • Enabling touchless replenishment via Master Data settings

  • Continuous harmonization and improvement of Material Supply processes by ensuring Philips Global Processes execution

  • Monitoring and securing supplier delivery performance

  • Following up on material life cycle, securing in time availability and prevention of obsolescence

  • Inventory analysis and policy definition to secure material availability against minimum inventory investments

Operational Material Management (OMM) team based in our Murrysville office.

OMM Senior Buyer Planner will work very closely with Commodity Management, Manufacturing Leadership, OMM leadership and Supply Chain Engineering teams that support multiple product lines (Sleep & Respiratory care & Patient Monitoring Systems).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5 + years of Procurement Governance experience

  • Experience working with suppliers reviewing capacity, expedites and escalations

  • Practical experience with SAP and/or Oracle ERP systems

  • Technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases is a plus

  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional team environment

  • Global Project Management experience
