Microsoft Azure Storage is a highly distributed and massively scalable cloud storage system designed to serve the entire world. Azure storage already runs at Exascale (storing Exabytes of data) and we will be scaling our designs over the next decade to support Zettascale (storing Zettabytes of data).

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SW Engineer for a new team in Haifa, Israel. Responsibilities include:

• Deliver software and services for the verification & validation of new hardware devices
• Lead SW development process across teams

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional development experience in C/C++ with multiple shipped software projects

• Experience with low level SW – interfacing and interacting with HW 
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:
•  

• Experience with multithreaded design and debugging
• Experience with verification & validation of hardware, ASIC or FPGA
• Experience with virtualization technologies and architecture (SRIO-V, Hyper-V)
• Some experience in data storage systems, file systems, or networking
• Familiarity with Windows internals and WinAPI
