An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Category Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and leading the relevant procurement strategies across a number of categories.

 

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic category management plans that identify key opportunities to drive value to the business and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve service, mitigate risks and achieve savings through hotel spend analysis, supplier sourcing, industry reports, etc.
  • Prepare category management plans
  • Participate in Global Procurement projects including sustainable development initiatives
  • Prepare and present reports to management
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of respective supply markets, competitors and product innovation
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to define the hotels and business requirements
  • Drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives
  • Manage the roll-out of the agreements with the hotel’s network
  • Prepare and review contractual documents


What we need from you

  • Bachelor Degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chains or project management
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chains or operations 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Sound understanding of basic financial principals and strong business acumen
