Job Overview
As Part of Daimler Trucks' Digital Vehicle Solutions Connected Business Team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining new channels to market for our digital products.
You will create and nurture key relationships with internal and external third party partners while establishing sustainable and repeatable processes to ensure efficient and effective digital product delivery to market. Our ideal candidate is passionate about new technologies, brings structure to ambiguity, enjoys partner relationship building, and is a self-motivator.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and expand key relationships with internal, dealer and third party partners, proactively assessing, clarifying and validating partner needs and ensuring partner compliance to agreements
- Coordinate involvement of key company resources to meet partner performance objectives and partner’s expectations
- Design, implement and maintain key processes to onboard new internal and external partners and ensure execution of digital product go to market strategy
- Work closely with internal groups, including but not limited to Legal, Finance, Aftermarket, IT, Sales & Marketing and Product Strategy to shepherd new digital product to market
- Partner with internal groups to ensure the development, maintenance and roll out of appropriate technical sales representative and dealer training for digital products
- Provide a bridge for smooth communication between DVS team and internal and external partners; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support.
- Develop and maintain key digital product sales and channel metrics
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related fields from an accredited college/university and 6+ years of related experience required
- End to End Project Management Experience required
- Strong knowledge of product and software development and go to market processes required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to package and present complex analysis and recommendations clearly required
- Extensive experience partnering with third parties, senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, as well as ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture preferred.
- Experience with a variety of traditional and new corporate communications channels (print, online, digital, video, face-to-face) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel required
- Agile and Lean experience preferred
- Digital product development experience preferred
- The ability to obtain Professional Management Professional certification upon hire preferred
