Role Description
We currently have an opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our regional team to showcase our clinical offerings to the Pharma & Biopharma Industry. They will work with our commercial teams, engage with customers at C-Suite level, be able to articulate our clinical strategy with confidence and build long term relationships in partnership with our largest customers.
They will be the face of our Clinical Capabilities externally, be instrumental in driving thought leadership and building brand awareness across region.
Responsibilities
- Work as an arm of the sales team to achieve new business targets by providing pre-sales support across the entire Pharma Intelligence portfolio upon requests including participating in pre-sales calls, delivering customized presentations (in person or via Web), and contributing to written proposals and other actions if needed
- Identifies customer needs/requirements and recommends the appropriate solutions
- Be the “go to” person for the Sales team in understanding customer workflows and needs by persona
- Maintain and develop wide-ranging relationship within this portfolio of customers and prospects—understanding their needs
- Build strong internal relationships with product management; product specialists; consulting; marketing; editorial and client services to ensure customer feedback is received and captioned
- A knack for determining the market’s willingness to pay for new products and continued development
- Stay up to date with industry trends, customer pain points and competitive intelligence
- Work with product management to define customer use cases and workflow solutions
- Represent Informa Pharma Intelligence at relevant industry conferences
- Use SalesForce as an activity planning tool and to capture all client related activity
Qualifications
- Deep expertise of the life sciences industry and our wide-range of customers and personas
- Highly effective presentation skills (sales, product or customer engagement)
- Sales experience; demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Understanding of customer’s decision-making process, goals, objectives and strategies; business and financial acumen
- Multilingual with the ability to speak English
- Well organized and disciplined team player
- Good time management skills to plan and prioritize workload and demands
- Ability to present and prove value of how solutions within the Pharma Intelligence portfolio enhance customer workflows by persona
- Ability to develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills, especially in listening and speaking
- Business travel expected
