We are seeking a Cloud Software Architect to join the Security and Privacy Innovation CoE, a newly formed team of engineers and technologists.

Security and Privacy Innovation CoE is part of Disruptive Venture Acceleration (VDA) arm of IDI. Our team is building a Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning platform, connecting the healthcare providers (e.g. hospitals) and companies that require access to medical data for training the Machine Learning models.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Define an innovative E2E AI-framework solution and accompanied cloud service that will enable new business-initiative for a secured, federated learning service with selected health-care data-providers and AI/ML business partners.
Define cloud architecture for a secured, resilient, and robust service, utilizing modern micro-services, orchestration, and provisioning at a selected cloud service provider.
Exercise, integrate and collaborate with open-source AI frameworks.
Define hi-level mode-of-operation for an AI model development environment with external customers, model vetting, attestation, maintaining data protection and privacy, etc.
Explore different architecture flavors and partitioning, initiate PoCs, with on-prem and cloud components.
Maintain and evolve a best-in-class architecture documentation and E2E flow that satisfies requested requirements.
Collaborate with cross-function engineering teams, product team and other stakeholders to sync on architecture efforts and improvements.
Applying best practices, development methodologies, CI/CD concepts and design-patterns.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar technical STEM degree
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years in software architecture domains
- 5+ years' experience in Linux development environment (advantage for cloud environments - AWS/AZURE/GCP)
- Proficiency in programming languages: C\C++, python, Java\.Net Core using microservices.
- Ability to work at high-abstraction levels as well as at the practical, detailed, implementation-specific levels.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, analytical skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Good teamwork skills, working with various levels of engineering expertise in various geographies, including external to Intel.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, for internal and external communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in application security and secure development practices
Experience with building CI\CD pipelines
Experience in developing AI-based solutions
