Collaboration Tools and User Engagement Specialist

We have just opened a new position for a Senior Collaboration Solutions Specialist in our growing IT department. 

The Senior Collaboration Solutions Specialist will use their expertise to help employees meet business requirements using collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, Miro, Slack, and other enterprise collaboration tools.  They will also contribute to the collaboration tools roadmap and provide technical leadership to ensure the organization’s collaboration platform is meeting the demands of business users.  This person must be able to work with minimal guidance and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience to achieve solutions that exceed user expectations. 

Primary responsibilities:

• Maintain a deep understanding and expertise of ADI’s collaboration tools platform, especially those within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Develop strong relationships with business users by providing them with collaboration solutions that exceed their expectations
• Contribute to the development and effective communication of project proposals, staffing and budgeting forecasts as well as overall business plans.
• Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
• Work with the Collaboration Service Owner to ensure ADI’s product offerings are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals
• Continuously improve user awareness and expertise of ADI’s collaboration tools by coordinating marketing and training initiatives
• Develop qualitative and quantitative insights into how the organization leverages our collaboration solutions. Leverage these insights to drive improvements
• Engage our user community to drive excitement for future ways of working, increasing overall digital dexterity

Requirements

• BA/BS in business or technology
• 7+ years’ experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting collaboration technologies, especially O365 products like SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Passion for technology and understanding how it can help people collaborate more effectively
• Strong communication skills, especially while talking about technology with business users
• Must be able to influence across, up, and down the organization.
• Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences to provide training and support
• Ability to work effectively with minimal guidance from others
• Ability to manage large, complex projects that result in the deployment of new technology solutions to the organization
• Microsoft certifications are a plus
