An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated commercial professional to apply their strong commercial project delivery and execution knowledge in the global Siemens Mobility business. The Senior Commercial Project Manager to join our Mobility Team will be based in our office in North Ryde, NSW Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related tasks to contribute to the projects success. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring the compliance with the LoA guidelines for all commercial aspects. Ensuring the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g., SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local Gaap requirements. Ensures all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities. Supports the Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments. Actively communicates with customer's commercial representatives and manages solving of commercial issues. Together with the PM proactively setting up a contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager. Supports the PM in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities ' taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities. Supports Project Manager to select and involve partners / subcontractors. Represents the project in the relevant decision boards internally and externally. Agrees targets with commercial project staff and delegates defined responsibilities and authority. Leads commercial project team members to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establishes a culture of trust and integrity. Liaise with Contract management throughout the project delivery phase and drive positive claim management on the Project. Lead a major project according to the PM@Siemens guidelines in the role as World Project Controller Review, report and manage the transition of the current accounting processes towards Siemens standard processes Help to introduce the Siemens brand across the existing business Participation in international coordination meetings including the reporting of progress of the transition As the Senior Commercial Professional for a large NSW based project with international involvement you will have the opportunity to drive the positive outcome of this highly complex project, while also constantly interact with the international project team. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager for NSW and New Zealand, you will be responsible for the successful commercial execution of the project management, managing the commercial support team on this project and working together with the Contracts Manager to maximise the project outcome. You will support the Project Manager and Engineering team during the execution and will be able to represent Siemens Mobility interest in front of the Client. The successful candidate: Holds a degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Economics, with sound understanding of Project Management methodologies. Demonstrates experience in a project-based organisation which is essential for this role, as well as capabilities in project accounting. Ideally has experience with the application and execution of the Siemens Collaboration Model for large international projects (or equivalent) and has a corresponding commercial project certification. Shows strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to build sound working relationships paired with your experience in executing contracts. Has excellent SAP and Excel skills which will ensure your success in this role.
