As an Integrated Circuit (IC) Commodity Manager you serve as primary commercial contact for all IC needs for designated Intel Business Units (BUs), inclusive of Product Teams, Engineering Teams, and other critical Intel stakeholders. You will partner with the BU to define and deliver a supply chain design for IC devices that meets Cost, Quality, Availability, Technology and ESG targets throughout all phases of the product life cycle. You will use your wide industry knowledge, commodity expertise, and supplier relationships to optimize Intel memory and IC supply chain design and strategy. Externally you will serve as a Business Unit expert when interfacing with suppliers, communicate Intel's Business Unit specific IC needs to suppliers, and ensure support from the installed supply base.
As the Senior Commodity Manager for Integrated Circuits, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead supplier selection (RFx) activities and secures supplier selection alignment with key stakeholders and leadership within the commodity team as well as the BU.
- Develop procurement strategy to include allocation, inventory, and utilization strategies.
- Develop and executes negotiation plans for contracts and pricing.
- Benchmark costs and prices and ensures affordability targets are understood and met, aligns BU partners on price forecasts.
- Understand industry roadmaps, identifies gaps and recommends actions to ensure support of Intel's Business Unit product roadmaps.
- Use commodity, product-specific, and supplier market Intelligence to drive optimal decisions and sourcing strategies.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance
- Manage tactical and mid-range supply, delivering monthly forecasts to suppliers and secures support responses.
- Manage and monitors ATM, ODM, or OSAT supply line to deliver target service levels.
- Develop and execute supplier-specific strategies for example assurance of supply
- Lead supply base consolidation strategy for the team.
- Create alternative approaches to overcome roadblocks, identify and capitalize on opportunities, and make quality decisions despite incomplete information.
- Identify intended and unintended implications of strategic initiatives.
- Consistent record of achieving significant business results. Aligns goals and timelines to stakeholder expectations, highlights roadblocks and solutions to overcome them.
- Successfully deploy a broad range of supply chain techniques and methodologies to achieve results.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field of study.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
