The Senior Communication Specialist is responsible to support communication manager to handle public relations, information output, press releases and media/Social media requests.


The position will also include the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop, translate and proofread quality internal and external communication content/materials both in English and Chinese
  • Excellent for content research, finding and writing including:
    • Sources content internally and externally from different channel from PR purpose
    • Sensitive for finding good Corp. news & stories from partners, customers, event and tradeshows or beyond.
  • Handling media inquiries, arrange interviews, media briefings and follow up result
  • Agency Management, Setup KPI to evaluate / analysis different agency performance.
  • Manage and monitor agency deliverables and performance against goals
    • Maintain and build long-term relationships with media, influencers and key stakeholders
    • Generate regular reports
  • Provide creative ideas, proposal for enhancing Greater China Corp. communication
  • Monitors industry news about the corporation and its competitors and identifies emerging issues
  • Supporting for budget control

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience desired with a degree in journalism, communications, high-tech companies or PR agency or a related field, interest in business/technology news is a plus.
  • Must have strong writing skill for traditional or digital media content development shaping and protecting our corporate image in ways that promote our business, values and mission.
  • Excellent news judgment, communication and interpersonal skills, including writing, proofreading and speaking.
  • Need team work and research abilities - Able to gather input across departments and doing research before making any stories or proposing PR activities
  • Ability to establish rapport and develop credibility from colleagues and external business partners.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Careful attention to detail with good follow-through.
  • Strategic, collaborative and creative thinker who can adapt and prioritize moment to moment.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Cision or related journalist database.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
