- Interview manager or business partner to identify job description
- Determine best match by researching against current job library and other third party survey benchmark jobs
- Identify justification if a new job is needed (business, geographic, regulatory, population size)
- Determine recommended actions and propose to manager
- Create new job and update all reference material
- Submit and collect data through third party market surveys
- Evaluate job matches to market for validity and analyze data
- Make recommendations for change to ranges based on comp philosophy and strategy
- Consult with Executives and business partner to validate ranges
- Perform continued evaluation
- Establish and maintain personal understanding of regulations
- Consult with internal and external experts to verify understanding and determine application of compliance regulation
- Identify liabilities and recommend and implement solutions
- Implement and maintain on-going compliance processes where applicable
- Identify, clarify and research customer needs
- Determine solution to best fit customer needs and align to business objectives (education/consultation/advising)
- Review proposed solution and cost modeling with necessary internal experts and stakeholders
- Create and provide compensation training to managers and team members regularly
- Solicit process feedback from global customers and peers and implement improvements
- Communicate and build relationships and credibility with key contacts (site leaders, area leaders, business partners, executives)
- Determine needs, design, generate, maintain and distribute reports as needed to key stakeholders
- Analyze, interpret and present results to appropriate stakeholders
- Complete modeling scenarios, develop recommendations and generate evaluation summaries based on data
- Receive, evaluate, process and audit data change request and results
- Troubleshoot and correct system errors
- Perform detailed, global system testing
- Ensure data integrity in existing systems
- Escalate issues to appropriate party(s) and validate issue resolution
- Participate on project teams as a representative of the compensation service and act as a subject matter expert to provide counsel, advice and support
- Maintain program documentation
- Ensure compliance to current plans
- Evaluate program for inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Suggest changes to improve current program
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement needed plan changes
- Benchmark current compensation practices on a regular cadence and as requested for continuous improvement
- Gather and review employee and/or management feedback, current and future needs and industry trends
- Communicate and coordinate changes with impacted personnel and management
- BS Degree in related field
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Minimum of 5 years Compensation experience
- Master’s Degree
- PowerPoint and Word proficiency
- CCP or CBP designation
