Azure Compliance team is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Program Manager to support Azure’s Right to Audit program that focuses on financial services and healthcare industries. Our team is looking for a PM to direct end-to-end audit efforts and help support our customers drive to a audit solution that is sustainable and scalable. Azure Compliance PM understanding of commercial and federal certifications including ISO, SOC, and FedRAMP is critical to be successful in the role in helping our customers. The PM will aim to streamline processes, compliance scope, and audit engagements across multiple Microsoft Online Service’s offerings, work directly with Azure customer’s compliance team inquiries and providing guidance and resolution to key stakeholders.

 

Our team manages Azure’s external audits and assessments. We partner with engineering groups, security teams, and external auditors to ensure that Azure’s extensive certification portfolio can be leveraged by customers to build the most secure and compliant systems on Azure. Responsibilities

  • Oversight, execution, and management of Azure internal and external audits related to financial services and healthcare industries
  • Building strong program-level practices to support scalable and repeatable certification efforts.
  • Customer and internal field sales engagement for ad hoc compliance support.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of audit and assessment experience in cloud environments.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience in managing audits medium-large scale IT environments.
  • A passion for deeply understanding customer needs and enabling business.
  • Strong understanding of certification requirements and translating into actionable engineering plans.
  • Deep technical and security background to convey compliance related requirements and solutions to engineering solutions and features.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and identify and mitigate likely security risks.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to dive into technical details.
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to drive initiatives across organizations.

 

Additional Experience Required:

  • Experience with cloud computing, online services, enterprise software development, engineering and/or operations at scale.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience supporting new and innovative technologies.
  • Enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-driven, self-motivated, and resourceful.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple, disparate activities at once.
  • Technical security and network background.
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and/or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred but not required. 
  • Basic awareness and experience working information and data governance.
