Job Description
  • In-house Construction Manager
  • Based in Hong Kong, large scale projects
  • APAC experience essential

We are searching for a Senior Construction Manager to work in-house for one of our global clients. Experience managing and delivering large scale construction projects in Asia is essential. Ideal candidates will also have small scale fit-out knowledge and must be highly presentable with fluent spoken and written English. The client are a global leader in their field and the Senior Construction Manager will work and manage prestigious projects through all construction and development stages.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage projects from tender through to handover to operations team and defect completions
  • Manage project locally and global as required, experience manage project remotely is advantageous given the current global travel restrictions
  • Set projects up, build project teams through vendors and complete these projects to strict schedules
  • Management of project site activities
  • Management of tendering and cost control
  • Strong communication of all project activities to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Provide guidance on local rules, regulations and work methods
  • Drive projects forward by providing relevant solutions to issues

Skills and experience:

  • Track record of delivering projects in Asia from start to finish
  • Experience working on large scale complex projects as well as more detailed fit-out works
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholder operations teams and vendors
  • Strong knowledge of best tendering and cost control practices
  • Expert knowledge of project management best practices
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
