Position Summary:
Cohesive Asset Performance seeks a talented individual to serve as a Senior Consultant to join our growing team responsible for the SEA region. The Cohesive Asset Performance practice provides outcome focused professional consultancy services to users of the Bentley Asset Management software suite used by owners and managers of large infrastructure assets. The Senior Consultant will be responsible to collect, analyze, and agree both functional and technical requirements with users and ensure these are clearly documented. The Senior Consultant will also be responsible to lead the implementation of solutions including testing, provide supporting documentation and training for users and be involved in promoting solutions to new users. This role will be based in our Perth office working with the local team and a larger team spread around the world. Some travel will be required in region.
Key Responsibilities of the Position are:
- Working with Bentley users to design and implement outcome focused asset lifecycle enterprise-wide solutions, including guidance on server requirements, sizing and specifications for the Bentley Asset Management software solutions.
- Be able to lead and facilitate outcome focused workshops, translating and documenting user requirements and processes into a functional/technical solution and establishing end user approval.
- Assist with product installation, server configuration and solution implementations to meet project requirements and document the final system configurations
- Assess and validate data migration strategies and enhance, develop and test tools for validating and migrating user’s data into a product platform
- Design, develop, and test custom deliverables, such as migration scripts, integrations, plugins, etc. as and when required
- Work closely with users to assist in resolving product and configuration issues
- Serve as the conduit between the user community (internal and external users) and the software development team(s) through which user and product enhancement requirements flow.
- Clearly and concisely communicate with all internal and external stakeholder’s with project status updates and issue resolution
- Provide technical support services for users regionally.
- Conduct remote and in person training to end users and system administrators
- Maintain and expand working knowledge of products
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred. Equivalent in work experience will be considered.
- Five to ten years’ experience in the areas of technical business analysis, software life cycle development, software implementation.
- Knowledge in various industry trends, industry best practices, and technologies such as Power Generation, Oil, and Gas, Refineries, and Infrastructure and Construction projects. Understanding of Asset Information Management and Building Information Modelling (BIM) will be hugely advantageous.
- Strong analytical and customer relationship skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Technical writing experience (developer and user documentation)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required including the ability to analyze data.
- Experience with office productivity tools, multiple web browsers, online communication tools.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and balance the time and effort between those projects.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL, XML, XSLT, C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and API level of 3rd party application
- Familiarity with the latest Web-based technologies and scripting such as HTML5, Javascript/JSON, PowerBI, etc. will be advantageous
Desired, but not Required Qualifications:
- Experience working for Application Service Provider (ASP) or Software as a service (SaaS) company.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, etc.)
- Knowledge of Geographic information systems and spatial data.
- Experience working with software development teams located offshore
