We are now looking for a Veeva COE Integration Team Lead to further exploit Veeva / Salesforce Integrations platforms on related to RAC and Veeva CRM Integrations on specific to US.
The Veeva COE Team Lead will be part of AstraZeneca’s Solution Delivery Center Application Engineering team, based out of our state-of-the-art IT facility in Chennai.
This leader will be accountable for the design and delivery of Veeva CRM and projects in support of Platform Architects as well as other platforms required for the delivery of applicable services.
This leader will regularly communicate with and influence leaders and peers across the AZ IT organization and will represent the Veeva COE Team’s delivery to business and IT stakeholders in all stages of project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design workshops, PI planning and build.

Role and Responsibilities
The Veeva COE Technical Lead will have the following primary responsibilities:
- Provide Functional and Technical Leadership to Veeva COE Application Engineering team in support of AstraZeneca’s IT insourcing strategy
- Serve as an internal consultant and SFDC/Veeva Integration expert for IT and business partners across all business areas (Commercial, Medical, R&D)
- Lead build, test, and deploy activities of key Veeva platform initiatives
- Perform analysis for proposing solution/technical design for various market requirements
- Help refine business requirements, set priorities, manage expectations, resolve issues, and work with the other members of the technical team to deliver innovative solutions.
- Create project deliverables and standards (e.g., including process standards)
- Manage release work plans and delivery timelines
- Lead process improvement initiatives with a view to increase release throughput and quality
Essential Skills and experience
- Minimum 8 – 10 years with people management skills and direct hands-on experience on Integration tools like Mule and .Net
- Good functional understanding of CRM capabilities , RAC , SOA webservices
- Good technical understanding of Veeva CRM and Veeva proiduct capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of RAC system and its associated technologies (Postgres, Oracle PLSQL )
- A broad understanding of the CRM business knowledge and technical architectures in both OBU and BBU
- Exposure to Web Services/ETL Integration products (Mule and Snaplogic)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Veeva and Salesforce.com Admin Certification
- Ability to work within both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced level of proficiency in planning, change management and problem solving and able to resolve issues of a highly complex and strategic nature
- Experience of driving and leading innovative solutions
- Experience of leading development teams with a demonstrable track record of motivational and achievement-oriented leadership
- Experience as a direct line manager with responsibility for performance management and development plans.
