ABOUT THE ROLE

• Onboard application teams into the platform and monitor proper use of the capability
• Oversee MicroStrategy service operation and drive issue resolutions
• Advises application development teams on solution designs and approaches that are aligned with IM COE Platform service, AZ IT Policies, and MicroStrategy best practices
• Lead and execute design and development activities of BI solutions
• Identify and drive BI Platform and service improvement opportunities
• Promote use IM COE BI platforms and capabilities
• Drive MicroStrategy Platform Upgrades and changes in partnership with platform support and MicroStrategy cloud vendor
• Work with MicroStrategy Cloud Vendor to deliver a best in class service to our customers
• Apply lean methodology to streamline processes and eliminate waste within the function
• Monitor performance and growth of the platform and propose corresponding actions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Degree level education in computer science, bachelor´s degree in Information Technology, or similar
• At least 8 years of BI experience and working in a data manager (or equivalent) roles for at least 3 years in a large, ideally global organisation(s)
• Broad understanding and experience managing large and complex MicroStrategy environments and solutions
• Extensive experience designing, developing and deploying MicroStrategy solutions
• Working experience in BI toolsets, specifically MicroStrategy BI tools, MicroStrategy 2021 Preferred
• Candidate should have good MSTR Architect experience and better understanding on Report performance optimization technique
• Knowledge in data warehousing concepts, data integration, and dimensional modeling
• Experience using Microstrategy administration and testing tools
• Strong SQL skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
• Familiarity of project management and Agile methodologies
• Ability to prioritize requests and set expectations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated skills in multi-disciplinary, multi-tenant global programs/projects
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
