• Detailed knowledge in system management, clustering and storage management, varied types of virtualization, identity management focused around Red Hat technologies, security management with focus around SELinux policy creation and hardening, Kernel internals
• Demonstrated expertise in shell scripting; ability to effectively write in an interpreted language like Python (Red Hat standard) or Perl
• Ability to read and understand C or similar programming language
• Performance tuning experience with customer
• Extensive knowledge of Ceph, with at least 3 years onsite project delivery experience for medium or large Ceph deployment and troubleshooting
• 2-3 years of experience working with commercial deployments of open source operating
• systems and Gluster and Ceph
• 3-5 years of experience working with enterprise customers on a range of development and deployment projects
• Experience with UNIX or Linux database administration and tuning
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
