Position: Senior Consultant – Construction

Experience: 8 to 12 years

Location: Mumbai, Delhi

 

Position Summary:

 

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Construction Acceleration start-up group as a Senior Consultant.

 

The Senior Consultant position is for a subject matter expert with proven practical experience in construction-related works including but not limited to scheduling, quantity surveying, cost estimation, project management, and site operations. As a Senior Consultant, you will be actively involved in a broad spectrum of activities including technical consulting, software demonstration, team collaboration, and client relationship building.

 

As a Senior Consultant, you will have to apply your technical knowledge in deploying software solutions, assisting sales, hands-on training, and provide technical support to users.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Work with prospects and users to gather requirements for software services
• Maintain a high knowledge level of company’s applicable products and services
• Promote our value proposition to consultants, contractors, and owners by providing technical solutions to help the users meet or exceed the business objective
• Technically support the sales/business development team with benefit-oriented, feature specific demonstrations that promote Bentley solutions for the construction industry
• Assist in composing technical proposals, benchmarks
• Assist in closing the sales opportunities
• Responsible for successful implementation, technical support, and adoption of Bentley’s construction solution
• Perform software product training activities, project assessments, reviews and audits
• Deliver webinars/workshops as required and attend marketing events to promote the software 
• Responsible for the reseller technical development within the region
• Work with product development groups to continually improve the quality of the product based on user input

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline required
• 8 to 12 years of experience in the construction industry is required
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, quantity surveying, and cost estimation, contract management, project management, construction site operations are required
• Hands-on experience with scheduling, cost estimation, and construction project management tools is a MUST – Primavera P6, MSP, iTWO costX, Vico Office, ProCore, Synchro and other similar software applications
• Knowledge of BIM, 5D modeling and experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) are a plus
• Willing to travel extensively across the country & region is a MUST
• Fluency in English is essential
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills
• Ability to learn and effectively demonstrate the Bentley Software suite
