Job Description

SAP MFG PP Consultant for a world leading Pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is head quartered in the United Kingdom. The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and in-depth technical knowledge in the SAP Quality Management. The Candidate should also have strong integration knowledge of QM with PP, MM, WM & PM Modules. The candidate must have good exposure to Pharmaceutical Industry and its related processes.

Role

• As a SAP MFG Consultant, will be responsible in providing support activities in SAP PP-PI Module in Application Maintenance and ability to work in Projects related to Application Development.
• Will be working closely with the Architects and Business Stakeholders in delivering Incremental Changes and Bug fixes.
• Must work independently in Small, Medium & Complex projects.
• Ability to work Collaboratively with the PP Team.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Mandatory Skills

• Expertise in the respective business domain and SAP PP Module

• Should have expertise in MRP, MTO, MTS, PI-Sheet & Batch Management, Engineering Change management.
• Should have good understanding on planning and possess adequate knowledge on the planning integrated with APO systems like PPDS/SNP.
• Knowledge on IDOC processing and Background job monitoring.
• Understanding and work experience on SAP interfaced with Shop floor systems.
• Strong Knowledge in Master data (BOM, Resource, Master Recipe and Production Version).
• Should have experience in customizing for MRP, Master data and Shop floor for PP-PI.
• Should have adequate knowledge on the integration aspects and configuration dependencies with QM, MM, PM, FICO & SD.
• Exposure to EWM will be an added advantage.
• Should be able to prepare documents such as business processes, functional specifications based on the requirements.
• Should be able to prepare Test scenarios, test scripts for a business process.
• Able to understand configuration dependencies between modules of SAP.
• Experience in Incident & Change Management tools like SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, Remedy.
• Should have good knowledge on ITIL and Application life cycle management processes.

Desired Skills

• SAP PP Certification may be an added advantage.
• Exposure to SAP QM & PM modules will be an added advantage.

Education Background

Any Graduate or Post Graduate.

Preferable Industry:

IT/Manufacturing/Pharma with SAP Consulting background

Overall years of Experience:

Overall 10 Years of experience with 6 to 8 Years as SAP PP Consultant
