InnoTech Associate Scrum Master is responsible to facilitate and run Products areas / groups and business initiatives implemented through InnoTech. The role will typically report to Scrum Master and involves closely working with Product Owner / Product Leads and Product Engineering teams to deliver on product strategies as well as with Customers in Business / IT on Business initiatives. The role would cover supporting multiple product areas and Business Initiatives.
Typical Accountabilities
- Facilitate and lead as Scrum Master for various agile methodologies in use for Product areas and Business Initiatives.
- Handle and Support the Product Owner, Product Lead and Product Engineering Team in delivering to the Product Strategies and Business Initiatives to the requirement from Customer.
- Working with Product Owner and Product Engineering Team to define Social Contracts to execute in each product area.
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies like Sprint planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Review and Retrospective and Daily Scrum.
- Support team as a servant leader and resolve conflicts and remove impediments on the way to the Engineering team on delivery.
- Handle the knowledge of Agile in the team and act as a coach in Agile Practices over processes and tools to the team.
- Promote Openness, Clarity and Trust in Agile Teams.
- Ability to traverse internal and external dependencies and bring solutions for the teams to use / establish relationships to deliver.
- Support / Encourage the Product Owner to build the Product backlog and Roadmap in good shape ensuring the size of Issue types are appropriate and manageable by the team.
- Ability to work in a high performing, high technical IT Infrastructure team and able to understand use of IT Infrastructure technologies.
- Act as a safeguard for the Agile Team.
- Build and Own Quality and Delivery Metrics in Jira to work with Product Lead and improve Quality and Velocity. Key to build value on metrics and incremental delivery support to improve Scrum Maturity.
- Showcase partner management to support Business Initiatives through delivery from the product teams via Epic/Stories in the Product boards or as a separate project in the business area.
- Assess and encourage team maintain quality information in Jira.
- Act as a change agent and strong communicator.
- Ability to traverse multiple Agile framework and be open and clear in evolving existing Agile Practices and / or to move to other better frameworks.
- Lead IT Infrastructure Products and deliver.
Career Sub-Level Description
Position requiring IT work experience, with atleast 1-3 years covering Agile Project / Product Management. Works as a Change agent, Coach and independently sets direction for Product team and Business initiatives of high complexity. May also be responsible for mentoring guiding and coaching junior members in the team to help them scale. The role would offer expertise cutting across various units and make tactical decisions which will have an impact on business. Advises Sr management on technical issues. Conducts, supports and reports research in one’s own area of expertise.

- Technical or Business Degree or relevant proven experience
- Proven skills and experience managing and controlling project in Waterfall and Agile.
- Knowledge of multiple agile frameworks like Scrum, SAFe etc.,
- Experience leading and developing product/project teams with a diverse blend of skills and capabilities
- Evidence of shaping innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organisation
- 1-3 years of proven relevant experience as an Agile Project Manager or equivalent role.
- Experience working in IT Infrastructure delivery.
- Masters degree

- Experience working in a global organization where partners and project team members are geographically dispersed.
