ABOUT THE ROLE

• Serve as a configuration specialist, consultant and Veeva Vault expert for IT and business partners across regions and business areas.
• Participate in business requirement gathering and design activities with business & IT stakeholders as part of scrum team.
• Perform delivery activities through Design / Build / Test / Deploy phases for regular releases and key Veeva platform initiatives.
• Design and build extensions for Veeva Vault to accommodate custom business flows.
• Responsible to solve day-to-day incidents, service requests and work towards incident-reduction and automation. Also, update Service Now (ticket management tool) for all events with respect to the incidents, service requests, changes and problems.
• Ensure that all system security and control procedures are implemented and maintained
• Generate and implement ideas to simplify / streamline our integration landscape in alignment with integration design and patterns.
• Responsible to maintain the configuration specification documentation both for functional and integration configuration.
• Manage/Update JIRA Board during the lifecycle of an implementation focusing on requirements gathering, configuration, validation/testing, training, and go-live activities during releases.
• Work with Integrations team to ensure that the integrations are set up and working as expected. We have Mulesoft, SnapLogic Middleware components.
• Work with Veeva technical team on requirements, issues related to Veeva API, Security Set-up and Functional Configuration.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Working experience in the Veeva Vault products such as – Vault Platform, RIM & QMS suites. .
• Functional knowledge of Regulatory processes in the R&D Space - Regulatory Registrations, Submissions, Publishing and Quality. Development/Support experience in the regulatory space.
• Expertise in Vault Object Model, Validation Rules, Relationships, Wizards, Object Lifecycles, Object Workflows, Document Handling along with Document Lifecycles and Document Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, DAC Configuration, Security Configuration, Jobs, File Staging
• Experience in data activities via Loader, APIs, vault refresh and domain admin activities
• Experience in migration/configurations through Packages, extraction and analysis of Vault Compare and Configuration Reports.
• Knowledge in Spark integration configuration, migration activities and SSOT Data model would be added advantage
• Extensive knowledge in Veeva releases and Release Impact Assessment for Veeva Releases.
• Knowledge of support processes - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and experience working in large sized support/delivery teams and service now (SNOW) .
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence
• Experience of working in Agile/SAFe teams using SCRUM
• Experience in SDK, MDL, Mobility applications will be an added advantage
