To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for supporting deployment of the continuous improvement tools and processes of the Eaton Business System (EBS), including Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) and Operational Assessment (OpA) plants (Sincan-Temelli) in support of strategic goals and objectives. Your Main Responsibilities will be: • Building organizational Eaton Lean Six Sigma tool usage capability and develop local CI Tool Champions by providing training and consulting support. • Leading cultural maturity journey through the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) deployment (visual controls, process standardization, leader standard work, Gemba walks, manning strategy, daily accountability, process checks and CI for everyone) • Mentoring, coaching and challenging site leadership teams and CI leaders in the integration and use of ELSS methodology to include but not limited to Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), High Performance Work Teams (HPWT), ELSS Tools, Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma Projects, as well as the business Lean Tool Certification Program • Performing and validating annual Eaton Lean Six Sigma tool assessments to set up roadmap • Implementing identified Eaton best practices and drive integration of best practices internally • Being responsible for attainment of Eaton Lean Six Sigma Assessment and Cost Savings objectives • Providing regular status updates to the senior leadership team • Attending direct problem-solving activities and coordinating corrective action plans for production problems. Planning and assisting in designing strategies to improve positive employee relations and increase overall engagement. • Acting as an instructor & Mentor for various training programs which include Strategy Deployment, specific Eaton Lean Six Sigma tools, Lean training & certification, Six Sigma Black Belt training & certification, CI for Front Line Leaders • Planning, facilitating and supporting various Kaizen events like: Business Process Improvement (BPI), Integrated Deck Building (IDB), Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), • Leading Six Sigma projects to achieve desired goals. Coaching and mentoring Production and Quality Engineers and Technicians in quality concepts and applications. • Coaching and mentoring other functions (MESH, Operations, Quality, SCM etc.) in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools/methods (A3, 8D, etc.) • Ensuring annual self-assessments are completed at each plant to include but not limited to Eaton Lean Six Sigma, Operational Assessments, as well as formal assessments when required. These assessments must identify gaps driving maturity levels, annual action plans to improve and include a process to monitor progress. • Coordinating and mentoring the VSMs between the plants to identify best strategies to reduce the non-value-added activities between the plants • Analyzing and developing reports related to operational and Eaton Lean Six Sigma functional requirements. Managing and updating Cost-out hooper and pipeline to support the business goals. • Utilizing change management techniques such as ADKAR to effectively drive and sustain process improvements • Participating in the process of obtaining certification and recertification of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, etc. Monitor’s performance and CI plans for each plant, participate in regular reviews and recommend opportunities for improvement as necessary • Ensuring that Eaton values and philosophies are integrated into the culture. • Leading cadence CI Councils • Facilitating strategy deployment events and cadence meetings. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: • BSC / MSC degree: Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer. • Minimum 5 years of experience • Transformer production experience • Having Six sigma green/black belt • Having a knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques – i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, etc. • Having minimum four (4) years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment. • Having minimum three (3) years of experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence. • Being a person has strong interpersonal and planning skills with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect (influencing) abilities • Ability for effectively and comfortably speaking to different levels of the organization, senior leaders to the factory floor • Understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. thought maps, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Gage R & R, control charts, Pareto charts, etc. • Having a proficiency in Office 365, • Strong knowledge of industry and customer specific quality processes (i.e., ISO9001 etc). • Good command on proficiency in MiniTab; knowledge of Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing. • Strong knowledge of Six Sigma concepts and tools as they relate to minimizing process / product variability – i.e. regression analysis, hypothesis testing, etc. • Strong knowledge of ELSS and EQS Tools • Having Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification • Being able for coaching, mentoring, and being a good learner and teacher What we offer to you: • Permanent contract in a fast-growing global company • Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team • Flexible working solutions (home office, remote, flexible working hours, part time etc.) • We make your voice matter - we value safety and trust.
