It’s an exciting time here as we build out our new in-house agency which will support the world’s leading aesthetic brands with personalized communications. This is one of those “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunities where you’ll be integral to the agency’s success right from the beginning. To do this right, we need to hire the best and brightest—and that’s why we want you! Reporting into the Creative Director, you’ll work alongside designers, copywriters, and content creators. You have a mastery of brand voice, eloquently bridging narrative-driven storytelling, and benefits-driven calls to action. You collaborate easily with design partners to generate compelling campaigns that deliver results. You know how to translate the brand voice into killer campaign creative as well as compelling lifecycle communications. You think conceptually but ground your ideas in strategy. You are as adept at writing a script as you are at crafting performance headlines and social posts. And most importantly, you understand that the consumer is at the heart of every piece of communication. Responsibilities: Oversee copywriting for core brands, delivering a consistent voice and messaging that pays off on brand strategy Concept and collaborate with art directors, visual designers, and content creators to deliver high-performing creative—from concepting campaigns to conversion-oriented communications Create engaging, response-generating copy that communicates our personalized offers and benefits of our loyalty program at scale Deliver data-driven, insightful content for all channels—video/animation, email, landing pages, social media assets, digital advertising, and unique activation ideas Champion the brand voice and the value of persuasive copy as well as uphold all brand standards across all communications Partner with marketers to optimize customer acquisition and retention efforts—through create-test-iterate model—continually evolving the impact and effectiveness of segmented customer conversations Maintain and iterate tone of voice principles, copy styles and messaging themes Adapt feedback, analytics, and insights across the lifecycle journey to continually iterate and improve copy efficacy Drive day-to-day copy deliverables and offer mentorship and support for copywriters on your team Partner with compliance and review teams to incorporate ongoing requirements and feedback, while ensuring creative work adheres to brand standards Qualifications Qualifications: 7+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment; experience in beauty, retail, health, or CPG a plus Diverse portfolio showcasing exceptional campaign copywriting and CRM strategy across a variety of media—social, video, commercial, web Experience working with marketing automation tools, web publishing tools, and dashboards within a CRM to identify core insights to optimize messaging and performance Expert knowledge of campaign development and advertising workflow processes Advanced understanding of how to implement strategies to nurture customers, drive engagement, and accelerate the purchase process Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills Extreme attention to detail and grammar Bachelors in English, Communications or Journalism; or equivalent #LI-ADL Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel No Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code IC About AbbVie AbbVie’s mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.
