Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA location. Position Overview: Analyze customer financial conditions with authorization to approve orders up to $500K. This position will have primary responsibility for managing Major Project Jobs relating to our Direct & OEM Customers. This position will be responsible for all credit aspects of the project. While not limited to, this position will be responsible for reviewing customer financials, contract reviews focusing on terms & conditions, generating customer specific (pro forma) invoices, progress billings, lien right preservation, etc. This position will focus on all aspects assuring payment while minimizing any financial risks. This position will also drive resolution of any invoice and contractual disputes by interacting between the project manager, operations, and the customer Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: Assess credit risk and establish/recommends credit limits in accordance with established limits of authority matrix. Negotiate customer discrepancies and rectify disputes while documenting root cause. Analyze customer financial statements validating that customer equity supports project. Provide financial order management support to minimize credit exposure, effect timely payment, and minimize risk of customer disputes utilizing tools available; ie lien process, progress billings, contract reviews, etc. Develop relationships with internal and external customers to provide customer service support. Follow up with internal (sales & operations) and external customers to ensure prompt payment of receivables. Utilize root cause analysis to achieve continuous improvement in the overall order to cash cycle. Maintain accurate credit files and collection files. Maintain electronic collection notes for each customer account. Participate in major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives. Provide training & guidance for credit analyst as well as sales, customer service, and operations to ensure all major project orders are processed in accordance with contract. Strategic thinking demonstrating effective evaluation and problem-solving skills Strong business writing and professional communication skills. Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills. Strong ethics, values and the ability to influence and impact others' decision making. Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions under minimum supervision. Ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrates effective customer service skills Negotiating skills.
