With this background we want to reach out into the new digital business. As a Senior DCS engineer, you will work in a diverse team of automation, MES engineers and project managers. In this role, you will: Engineer, test, and commission solutions for process industries plants. Coordinate the technical work in your project team. Documentation (Functional and Design Specifications) of requirements, test protocols and deliverables as per GMP requirements. Define and discuss the detailed technical scope and deliveries with the customer in a pharma and chemical environment. Develop custom scripts/modules/interfaces. Customization and optimization of the solutions for customer specific requirements on site. Develop tools and templates for standardization to accelerate the engineering process. Work closely together with project Management to prepare competitive bids and eventual change requests. Conduct technical trainings when required, to share development best-practice. Propose measures to continuously improve the engineering processes to optimize cost and quality. Business ethics and compliance in working with customers, suppliers and internally. Coach junior team members. Curious to know if you’re the colleague we’re looking for? You have experience with DCS systems in the pharmaceutical industry. You have a good knowledge of SIMATIC PCS 7 and Batch. You have knowledge of GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. You want to work in an international/multi-cultural environment, and you have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You have good communication skills; a creative mindset and you are an effective team player. You are willing to travel occasionally.
