This position supports end-to-end master data product maintenance processes within the Electrical Sector. Incumbent will be responsible for – The MDM Sr Data Analyst II role reports to the Deputy Manager - MDM and supports end-to-end master data product maintenance processes within the Electrical Sector. He/she will be responsible for providing product data to Eaton’s ES distributors, data warehouses and applications across the globe. He/she will be responsible with working with Informatica P360 modifying / building syndication templates to support data syndication – the process of distributing product information directly to a channel partner system. This will include gathering requirements, technical analysis, and the technical implementation of those requirements. He/She responsible for MDM projects and decision making on data requirement strategies. He/she will work as backup of Team Lead to support the teams task. In addition, with direct syndication, he/she will be an expert in all data syndicates, specializing in Electrical Data standards globally, such as IDEA Connector (CAS/PAS), Trade Service, ETIM, CDW, CNET, Gfk Etilize, Home Depot, Amazon, Retail, Etc. This position is responsible for lead the MDM projects and take the decision on data requirement strategies . He / She will manage the project Individually and as well as with team. Responsible to build and operationalize processes that ensure timely data-loading and maintain accuracy and relevance of data. Should have excellent communication skills in passing down instruction to the junior Data Analyst and support whenever needed. Work with Product Data Hub tools to build a centralized product database for Electrical Product lines. Experience in Product lifecycle Management, product development and management exposure. Ability to find inconsistencies in product information and working through the enterprise governance processes for standardization. Collaborates with technical team for system improvements and testing of Integration mappings between different applications and PDH. Works with different source systems (Product drawings, ERPs, etc.) to source product attributes and specifications. Ability to present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review. Flexible attitude to work with and the willingness to learn new skills when required. Write and edit a heavy volume of product information such as product descriptions, product attributes and unstructured content. Working on deployment projects (region specific) with larger scope of Product data hub in co-ordination with IT & Project management team Responsibility for collecting, organizing, creating, documenting, and entering detailed attribute information. Qualifications Education level required: Diploma / B.E. Electronics and Electrical Engineering 5-8 years of experience in product lifecycle management, product development and management exposure Technical knowledge: Electrical products, MS Access, Informatica IDQ Strong data analytical skills, familiarity with SQL preferred.
