Purpose of your role

You will be part of Dalian technology group and work closely with Hong Kong and other business groups to utilize analytical, statistical and related programming skill to collect and process our customer data sets and generate insights from the data. The insights and prediction would be used to help our relationship management team, marketing team to drive the business growth and plan activities effectively.

The role would require the candidate has experience of model and algorithms selection and evaluation, knowing data mining/analysis techniques and experience of using Python or other programming language.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop data models and algorithms to apply to datasets
• Mine and analyse data from various data sources
• Develop A/B testing framework to evaluate the effectiveness of various models, algorithms
• Provides insights to enable business growth and optimize customer experience

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Experience using statistical programing language like Python or R and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and algorithms (K-means, decision tree, SVM, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts(regression, clustering, classification, etc.) and know how to apply different models in real-world
• Experience with Excel, PowerBI, Tableau and other programming language likes Java
• Strong problem solving skills
• Major in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related discipline is preferred
