We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Sales and Operations Planning analytics team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing requirements and convert them into system design.
• Documenting the design.
• Development of technical components.
• Unit testing and test automation.
• Integration testing.
• Provide status reports and attend Scrum ceremonies.

In addition, the ideal candidate should also have the following behavioral skills:

• Effectively work cross-functionally with business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to influence peers and stakeholders.
• Independent and self-starter willing to sort through conflicting inputs and goals to set clear objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields OR equivalent experience (4 years) plus:
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 4+ years of data and analytics development experience.
• Advanced English level

Preferred qualifications:

• Data and Reporting tools: SQL Server Analysis Services, Excel, Power Query, DAX Query, PowerPivot and Power BI.
• Coding/Scripting experience : Python or equivalent.
• Architecting/creating data models: analytical and relational, data warehouses, MSSQL Server, HANA etc.
• Creating complex views, stored procedures and optimizing queries
• Consuming REST APIs.
• ETL (extract/transform/load) development: data extraction, transformation, loading; full and delta data refreshes.
• Business Intelligence solutions; including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Power BI for creating professional-level dashboards to be rolled up to senior management.
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in working with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements; and convert requirements into technical design details for implementation.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory/Analysis Services.
