We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Sales and Operations Planning analytics team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The person would be part of an agile team

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business partners to understand and document requirements
Convert business requirements to design
Development of the required technical components
Unit testing, integration testing and test automation
Provide status reports and attend Scrum ceremonies
Provide expertise on database management/design to drive integration of business data, functions, and systems
Establish standards, guidelines, procedures, and other infrastructure necessary to support the objective of integration of data
Resolve performance problems
Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualification are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of experience in data and analytics development
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience with Semiconductor Supply and Demand data

Preferred Qualifications:
Programming experience in SQL Server: stored Procedures, Analysis services, Integration Services and willingness to learn new programming languages to meet goals and objectives
Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization and reporting, with an understanding of the best, most efficient use of associated tools and applications to complete these tasks.
Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data from multiple sources.
Experience in production support and troubleshooting
Experience with Azure Data Warehouse

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
