The team handles the development of the products which include the design of digital signal processing datapaths, high-speed interfaces, embedded microprocessor systems, and accelerators. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical and managerial  Leadership to Digital  Design Engineers in the Design of SoC IPs and subsystems
  • Contribute to and influence Chip Architecture and systems engineering.
  •  Guide design engineers working on the development of timing constraints,  lint checks, synthesis, and Static-timing-analysis tools - both for micro-arch feasibility analysis in initial stages and for timing signoff by working closely with DFT and PnR teams.
  • Technically enable the design team to review DV test-plans, code and functional coverage by working with DV team.
  • Hire , mentor, and guide design engineers technically and managerially

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum BTech/BE degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer science
  • 10 -15  years of solid  digital logic design experience in hands-on and/or technical leadership.
  • Strong technical orientation to lead the activities -architecting and Design of key digital blocks in SoC Designs.
    Must have worked with cross-functional product development teams and the designs must be realized in Silicon (ASIC tapeouts, *not* FPGA)
  • Hands-on experience in the development of optimal micro-architecture by analyzing power, performance, and area tradeoffs
  • Experience with Lint, CDC, formal equivalence, ECO flows and scripting
  • Strong  Knowledge of Processor subsystem/SoC architecture.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to logically drive the  discussions effectively with teams spread geographically
  • Experience in  technically mentoring junior engineers
  • Experience with participating in Post Silicon issue debug is a definite plus
  • Knowledge of DSP fundamentals will be an added advantage.
