Position Objective

• Develop processes for release engineering and build management, handle the deployment and schema build cycles for releases, rework/maintain/optimize existing release processes
• Leverage and optimize Build and Release tools to increase development productivity

Responsibilities

• Responsible for identification & resolution of issues with release management and configuration management activities, overseeing the delivery of products/projects and/or release on agreed platforms, in line with defined schedule
• Evaluate, customize, deploy, and troubleshoot software for release and deployment
• Provide solutions and contribute to software configuration management decisions
• Work closely with the development team, troubleshoot build and merge issues efficiently
• Expert in Devops whole lifecycle and with the strong experience for setup of Devops echo system like Deploy, test, coding management.
• Be familiar with devops tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jfrog, Nexus, Jira, K8S, Jmeter, Seleium
• This role can setup the devops platform and know the whole process
• Setup and improve the devops process and platform continuously
• People Management: Devops team engagement 
• Devops KPI like service stability and efficiency improvement 
• Communicate with IT development Team and Business User is required
• Communicate with Solution provider, outsourcing vendors, auditors etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• A bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in build and release management area 
• Degree holder in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent with more than 5 years of relevant experience gained in sizable organization Insurance background is a plus
• Holder of professional qualification(s) preferred e.g. Redhat OpenShift
• Solid experience in Redhat Linux, OpenShift, JIRA Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline configuration, virtualization technology, Azure & AWS cloud infrastructure, application monitoring, encryption technology, HA solution and backup & recovery solution
• Knowledge in script language (such as maven, Python, Groovy, Unix shell)  
• Strong interests in software engineering, technology oriented
• Fluent English in writing, good communication skill
• Reasonable knowledge of Build and release Management principles, practices and tools
• UNIX/Window administration and db administration experience will be beneficial
