What does the Global Digital Service Centers do, you ask? The Digital Service Centers (DSC) are the delivery and innovation backbone for the provision of a wide range of Digital Services to our customers. With a global footprint, present in the Regional Solution and Service Business of Smart Infrastructure in America, Europe, Germany, and Asia Pacific, the DSCs complement our strong onsite services with remote services, data-driven analytics, and IoT-based service models. As an integral part of the delivery chain for our customers we combine both, being a strong partner for our local service teams, and leveraging the capabilities and potential of a global network. Responsibilities Lead the technical design of our shared managed cloud environment Create and continuously improve blueprints and infrastructure-as-code templates to enable and drive cloud native applications in our DSCs Collaborate with product management, developers and DevOps engineers to define a shared vision of success in the cloud Create high level architectural concepts that can be consumed and implemented by DevOps engineers Define, implement and improve DevOps concept across Digital Service Centers Act as a thought leader for state-of-the-art software developments practices Support & educate DevOps community and local developers Establish and manage a global community of DevOps experts Exchange with SI BP’s DevOps community Qualifications: The foundation is your master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in engineering, business or IT +7 work experience Significant experience and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) programming skills (e.g. Cloud Formation, Terraform) to setup cloud infrastructure Significant experience and programming skills with container technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) Significant experience in setting up automated CI/CD pipelines and automated test pipelines (from unit over system to NFR tests) for continuous software quality assurance Experience with architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitLab or Jenkins Experience in applying and adopting agile development processes and principles Excellent analytical skills and experience in defining and governing complex DevOps cloud architectures and development processes Experience in setting up AWS infrastructure for DevOps environments leveraging the full power of AWS native services Proven work experience in distributed, international teams Business fluent in English, German is a plus Certifications are a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.
