- Coding
- Automate operation routine tasks
- Lead external vendor team as tech lead
- Ensure external vendor’s delivery meet Daimler quality and security standard
- Bring SRE expertise to product teams
- Train junior team members on design techniques and coding standards
- Cultivate innovation and collaboration across multiple teams
- Support open source adoption and IT infrastructure modernlization (e.g. application migration to CaaS)
2. Application Run/Operation (50%)
- Production deployment
- L3 support for IT incident in production and staging environment
- Lead external operation support
- Provide feedback to dev team and push product team to improve the system quality and operation efficiency
- Optimize infrastructure and application monitoring alerts’ accuracy and sensitivity
- Measuring and monitoring system availability, latency and overall system health
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
- Provide suggestions to other team members on managing availability and performance of mission critical services
