The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for the design, estimation, and development of high-quality web applications in line with AIA’s business requirements.

As one of our AEM Senior Developers, you will develop high-quality web applications as part of our Front-End scrum team.

To do this successfully you will:

• Design and build responsive web applications, forms and components using AEM 6.5 and the latest JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue
• Design and write high quality code and automated unit tests integrated with CI/CD pipeline
• Be adaptable to change, work on multiple streams of work and have a clear delivery focus
• Active self-organiser in a cross-functional scrum team and key role in collaboration to achieve the sprint goals
• Conduct ongoing code reviews and prepare relevant quality documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, estimate, design, and ship new features.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Proven commercial front-end web development using the latest JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue
• Experience in AEM 6.5 and components such as JCR API, Sling models, OSGi, HTL, Touch UI dialogs
• Proficiency with front-end technologies: HTML5, ES6, CSS3/Sass, Bootstrap
• Previous working with API integrations via REST and JSON and writing quality unit tests with JavaScript frameworks such as Jest
• Experience working with product management and UI/UX designers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving, and growing environment
• Working knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
