Job Overview

We are searching for an enthusiastic English-language Digital Editors to create an attractive web and social-media presence for our publications. As a Digital Editor, your responsibility will be to create and oversee online luxury-oriented content produced on a daily basis by a dedicated in-house team.

You will help drive and sustain quality, excellence and timeliness of online material, and also work closely with our print team to boost readership, circulation and brand prominence.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative English-language content and develop new themes with team members
• Assign tasks to team members and freelance contributors
• Ensure that deadlines and goals are met
• Edit content for clarity, style, precision, relevance and accuracy
• Source appropriate images and artwork
• Enhance content by including video, music and sound clips
• Use applicable software to upload material to online platforms
• Ensure all content fulfills our quality criteria
• Observe and report on digital analytics
• Stay abreast of and implement the latest improvements in digital technology

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Native English fluency essential; knowledge of Cantonese an asset
• Previous digital editing and writing experience essential; print editing and writing an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of the luxury universe
• Excellent grasp of spoken and written English  
• Familiarity with digital technology and editing software
• Creative thinking with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
