Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Digital Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team. This position is a hybrid work model and can be based out of any Eaton US facility. Position Overview: Join Eaton’s Information Technology team and help positively impact our business through leading technologies, exciting and challenging enterprise projects, and new platforms. We are transforming to a Product Centric Organization utilizing Agile practices to help us work more incrementally and fluidly, allowing us to respond more quickly to changing business needs. We are currently seeking a Senior Digital Strategic Sourcing Manager (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) to join our Partnerships & Innovation Value Chain. The Digital Strategic Sourcing Sr. Manager (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) will be a key leader on the Global Eaton Sourcing team and will be responsible for developing and executing technical business requirements and technical specifications with particular emphasis on SOW, Master Terms and Conditions, and required sourcing processes and legal documents to include ITAR and other compliance requirements. A deep expertise and ability to improve Eaton’s complex end-to-end global procurement process from requirements to RFP development, supplier selection, contract negotiations, requisition and working with the finance and tax teams to create valid Purchase Orders placement is required for the candidate to be successful. The Digital Strategic Sourcing Sr Manager will be responsible for continuously improving all global supplier metrics and perform data analytics for trends and root causes and formulates proactive plans to ensure overall success of the category. This role is one of the key Sourcing leadership roles that will be responsible for delivering a significant amount of the overall Global Sourcing organization results. Essential functions include: Partner with key senior leaders across the Eaton company and work with the largest IT service providers and innovative technology companies to develop business strategies and create and manage a portfolio of contracts and SOW’s. Develop and implement global sourcing strategies utilizing state of the art sourcing practices and anticipate marketing evolutions to optimize strategic sourcing procedures and attain maximum value Demonstrates a future-focused mindset by anticipating industry trends, digital solutions, global challenges, and translating opportunities into business strategies Direct the negotiation of a variety of technology types, including hardware, software, data, and cloud services Proactively manage, plan, lead all technology spend across the company, taking ownership and responsibility Work in close collaboration with business teams to include, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT Operations, Security, and other cross functional partners, contributing to an environment of shared success. Lead and assume responsibility for the Sourcing Plan and Timeline development and management. Drive programs across Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), Data Analytics, business applications, Software Partnership Service leader and Stakeholders in application portfolio management, apps rationalization, VAR optimization, and other application related synergy activities Manages a portfolio of ERP and digital application suppliers Leads and supports negotiations Develop and issue RFIs and RFPs Support RFI/RFQ/RFPs from start to finish, including creation, issuance, and facilitation of the entire process, through vendor evaluations (using scorecards) and vendor selection Supports the coordination of all supplier performance reviews, spend analytics, benchmarks & reporting Supports software licensing and asset management to ensure compliance to contract Drive a managed services portfolio Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum eight (8) years’ sourcing and procurement management, negotiations, contract/subcontract management experience Minimum five (5) years IT/software/digital buying experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Preferred Qualifications Advanced Degree (legal specialization, J.D.) Position Criteria: Proven experience developing commercial strategies and solutions for stakeholder Experience with sourcing roles and functions, including creating sourcing roadmaps, developing category strategies, software licensing and asset management, risk management, action item management and requirements change management Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $149,600-205,700. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
