Job Description

Intel Programmable Solutions Group is at the forefront of FPGA innovation with our next generation Intel® Agilex™ family of FPGAs, our Intel® eASIC™ structured ASIC family, and extensive Software, IP and Platform offerings. Intel Agilex FPGA devices deliver significant power and performance leadership targeting applications needing flexibility, agility, and high performance in transformative applications of edge computing, networking, and cloud acceleration.

Intel's Programmable Solutions Group's software engineering organization (CSWE) is seeking a leader for its production and validation teams. Reporting directly to the vice president, you will lead the 100+ multi-site team. CSWE is responsible for all aspects of software engineering ranging from FPGA design tools, configuration firmware, high-level design, and full-stack software for solutions that deliver the capability of Intel FPGA technology enabling a smart and connected world.

Our FPGA software products are incredibly complex with over 10M lines of C++ code, numerous RTL IP cores, and many associated systems. You will advance our dev ops functions to make every aspect of developing within our ecosystem a pleasure to use. This will include using modern test and build tools, as well as CI/CD methodologies.

You will create a requirements-to-release execution machine that ensures we meet our software release commitments. You'll advance our industry-leading release management and dashboarding.

Our customers expect flawless releases - from their perspective, not ours. You will make provide and independent and accurate signoff for each release that we have done what we said we would. Partnering with our customer org you and your team will deeply understand how our customers will use our software and chips for their products, and ensure their use cases are fully validated. You represent the customer voice in front of our engineering team. You will relentlessly push and track for release-to-release quality improvement.

You have an outstanding understanding of the development of silicon and software products, including the test and release cycle. You will foster a strong team with a cohesive culture, and articulate a clear vision covering both technical and business considerations.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience  
6+ years' experience with co-release of silicon and software products and quality assurance
5+ years of extensive experience successfully leading in matrix environments and driving high-quality output across multiple stakeholders and partners

Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working with FPGA
5+ years of experience working with customer engagement teams
5+ years of experience with state of the art CI/CD solution and Modern DevOps Systems
