Senior Director, Revenue and Project Management - Image Guided Therapy (Nashville, TN)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to
Lead the installation, planning activities and project management team across the North America Market (for the US and Canada), in driving revenue and inventory performance targets for our Image-Guided Therapy (IGT) division. You will directly interact with executive leadership in Market, Business and Functional units while partnering with their counterparts to standardize a solution model for delivery across North America. Together with key partners, you will collaboratively work to translate business strategies into effective operational programs, procedures and policies - balancing quality, revenue, inventory, cycle time and cost. Additionally, you will play an important customer-facing role being responsible and accountable for addressing customer’s issues/concerns regarding equipment implementations.
You are responsible for the following:
Oversight of the revenue forecasting, backlog management, analysis and demand planning for all North America Businesses within scope on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Directing and influencing all commercial inventory activities, especially aged inventory, which directly influences working capital performance.
Applying intimate and in-depth knowledge of supply chain process, IT systems, healthcare market trends to ensure that Philips delivers on commitments.
Exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Utilizing skill set to development zone targets and performance principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Leading the organization; building and maintaining a culture aligned to the Philips Behaviors; attracting, selecting, retaining and promoting people based on talent management/acquisitions and performance management practices; and encouraging an engaged team.
Executing change management and continuous improvement initiatives and defines ways of working.
Applying leadership skills to influence all partners by developing accurate forecasts and quality dashboards.
Equipment installations and revenue within assigned businesses.
Medium/long-term revenue planning processes and alignment with supply-demand planning across all business in North America.
Defining the strategic and tactical direction with relation to converting the backlog or planning based on the backlog to meet revenue forecast; as well as, outlining logistics policies, while taking into account all the relevant factors for integrated management.
Appropriately managing of the commercial inventory levels within North America with the objective to realize targets. Focus on project cycle times; Aged inventory should also be monitored and kept at targets levels. (Direct Working Capital Impact)
Ordering materials and services and to specify the conditions for lowering costs, improving response time and shortening through times.
Initiating changes to logistics management concepts, leading to continuous improvements across the entire supply chain.
The material flow to and from the warehouse ensuring all requirements are met and give advice to management in the event that priorities have to be set for product deliveries.
Ensuring detailed underpinning of monthly/quarterly revenue outlook/targets, supported by analytics; as well as, any financial adjustments that may occur are accounted for.
Organizing department staff to safeguard efficient and effective goods flow management including in the long term.
Responsible for driving and improving customer installation net promoter scores; and requires Executive Level communication with customers on installation issues and corrective actions.
Formulating and driving productivity improvement across their organization.
Driving cross-functional discussions and program solving/actions for planning sessions to ensure project success (ie: E&Y year-end audits)
Ensuring strong relationship with Sales organizations, regions, supplier, factory and businesses with confirmed alignment of the markets latest view with Amsterdam.
Developing risk portfolio and scenarios/plans to mitigate and overcome revenue/ customer satisfaction impacts.
Driving the “Solid” implementation methodology including the 4 meeting process across all zones;
Hold Zone Installation Directors (ZIDs) and project managers accountable and take action for non-compliance. This included realization according to the project plan or validated project order, quality, money, time, information, organization and final customer acceptance

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience with proven understanding of strategic business insight.
15+ years’ experience in capital medical equipment with specific emphasis on sales operations, finance, project management, and supply chain management preferred.
Success in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Forecasting and Revenue paired with solid understanding of business P/L.
Project Management and/or General Contractor experience in hospital / medical facility construction with radiology room-design and build-out know-how, ideal.
Expertise in Lean methodologies, valued
Critical thinking/planning skills and in-depth understanding of project management operations required
Strong data analytics with the ability to use data to showcase improvement actions that can be operationalized and scaled across the organization.
Extensive project management experience; paired with expertise in leading both capital equipment and IT system projects.
Ability to defuse customer concerns and get relationship/project back on track.
Capacity to develop and implement competitive strategic plans and initiatives to support growth in revenue.
Skills to partner with all levels of the Sales and Service team
Effectively manage numerous business issues at a broad conceptual level and tolerate ambiguity.
Demonstrated skill to work with customers effectively and always instill confidence in the situation.
Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead the organization to achieve business objectives and financial targets within a solutions-based business model.
Ability to translate complex and abstract ideas into actionable strategies, lead senior level managers, and influence other functional areas leaders to implement and execute procedures, policies, and programs.
