Senior Director, Web Experience and Strategy

 

Location: Exton, PA is preferred. Based on individual candidate experience we will consider remote work for those in East Coast Time Zone.

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the overall Bentley marketing and sales websites reporting directly to the CMO. In this role you will be managing the all-around experience of the web user across all web-based touch points. You will oversee the functionality of the website, the evaluation and management of website performance, the selection and management of the CMS, the selection and management of website analytics and SEO execution. Reporting into this position will be user experience designers, publishing, CMS management, SEO, and all third-party vendors involved in website design, development, and measurement.   

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Effectively research, journey map, storyboard and test user experience that leads to an enhanced user satisfaction by improving usability, ease of use, and experience.
  • You will consider every aspect of the user experience, business and marketing goals to coordinate and deliver strategic vision and design to the highest possible standards.
  • Implement strategies that increase traffic & demonstrate ROI.
  • Know how to leverage audience targets, analytics data, digital trends, user behaviors, competitive audits, and asset/experience evaluations to inform the marketing approach.
  • Manage design resources and external vendor partners to deliver on-time and on-budget.
  • Lead all aspects of the project team on day-to-day operations of project deliverables and problem resolution.
  • Lead Web Design team members in developing wireframes, concept design mockups, and clickable prototypes to illustrate the design approach, gain stakeholder buy-in and ultimately support customer engagement to continuously improve UX.
  • Ensure compliance for all web properties, including form strategies, progressive profiling and privacy policy
  • Understanding of search marketing, ad serving platforms and API development/management
  • Develop the effective planning and execution of an eCommerce strategy, working cross-functionally with teams to ensure QA and timely publishing of all web content

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a field related to Web Design and User Experience Design.
  • 7-10 years’ experience leading a team in the field of Web Design and Development.
  • Experience with social media, SEO, SEM, digital content marketing, responsive web design and performance.
  • Ability to analyze and apply insights from analytics data into effective content creation and strategy.
  • Experience with multi-country and language CMS deployment and integration with translation services.
  • Experience with video streaming software.
  • Experience with web analytics, Google Analytics preferred
  • Sitecore experience a plus.  Sitecore MVP an added plus.
  • Coding: HTML; CSS, Javascript; jQuery; Dreamweaver a plus.
