This newly created senior HR leadership position is designed to be a highly influential role within the Siemens Digital Industry Software People & Organization (P&O) team. Reporting to the SVP of P&O, the role comprises two main responsibilities: Serving as global HR Business Partner to our two Heads of sales, services and support for differing verticals; and acting as the HR Country Manager for the US. In the capacity as global HR sales partner, the role will build strategic relationships of trust with the head of the Global Sales and Customer Success and the head of the Electronic Design Automation Global Sales, Services and Support organizations. Between them, these organizations drive ~$5bn in revenue, helping Siemens Software maintain its position as the world number one in industrial software. Siemens Software is embracing the significant challenge and opportunity of transitioning to a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model. The successful candidate will help support the sales organizations through this transformation, as they embrace new markets, new ways of doing business, and potentially also new skillsets, roles and compensation structures. The role will also provide guidance and support for other key HR-related sales initiatives, in coordination with the sales HR Business Partners, who support the various sales, services and support groups around the world. The responsibility as HR US Country Manager will be to provide cohesion and focus to US-based initiatives, and to guide the deployment and support of relevant programs, policies and strategy. These will encompass such topics as evolving flexible culture, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, pandemic response, policy development, and HR system deployments, amongst others. A talented team of HR Business Partners supporting the two Global Sales organizations will report into the position. In addition, the position will drive implementation of US-based initiatives through and in partnership with an equally talented team of HR Business Partners who support the non-sales organizations. YOUR SUCCESS FACTORS: Ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment Establishes successful relationships and influence based on personal credibility 10+ years’ experience in software, preferably industrial software 5+ years’ experience leading, motivating and coaching a team Experience supporting a fast-paced go-to-market/sales organization Quick witted, can think on your feet Experience with broad span of responsibilities, encompassing two or more functional areas Ability to think big in terms of strategic importance but cut your cloth to prioritize, mobilize and get things done Experience with sales compensation and sale transformation a plus YOUR INVOLVEMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to name just a few): Build relationships of trust with senior sales leaders and their teams Identify and prioritize areas of greatest need for P&O support related to the SaaS transformation and other needs of high impact to the business within the two sales organizations Bring together and create a focused US community of our HR Business Partners to align and support identified US P&O strategies, initiatives and goals Manage, guide, coach and develop the US-based sales HRBPs Collaborate closely with the Zone P&O leads to align and deliver on initiatives within the two sales organizations Support the evolution of the DI SW culture to attract, retain and evolve our workforce for the next generation of challenges Serve as a key member of the P&O leadership team, influencing, guiding, challenging and collaboratingAt Siemens we are always challenging ourselves to build a better future.
