Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Senior Distributor Sales Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Atlanta, GA location. Relocation assistance will be offered. Position Overview: The primary function of Senior Distributor Sales Representative OEM is to manage the assigned channel to increase OEM sales in the Southeast marketplace. One is to provide sales and product support to both distributors and internal personnel. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with assigned distributors by providing a variety of sales support, administrative services, training and stocking suggestions. It is required to identify and coordinate training needs, product promotion administration, product and price information, as well as problem resolution in order to optimize Eaton electrical penetration and sales. The primary functions include but are not limited to providing distributor support in the areas of product capabilities, claims and billing adjustments; achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or accounts; utilizing established co-worker relationships with plants to accomplish the strategic plan; support total quality efforts by providing timely and accurate information for order entry, elevating quality issues to attention of management; collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preference, buying habits, inventory and promotion management. In this function you will: Interface with assigned distributors by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services Provide sales and technical assistance Conduct on-site training for distributors on new products and Eaton processes Conduct local training and/or assisting in registration for Eaton University classes Identify and coordinate training needs, product promotion, administration, product and price information Support achievement of OEM sales goals and plans in the region; and Train distributors on how to use internal programs such as Vista, Bidmanager and CPA When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a distributor support or sales assignment Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Electrical Engineering PMP certification Strong application of power engineered products One plus (1+) years of project management experience Position Criteria: Excellent communication skills Strong electrical industry and product knowledge Distribution knowledge and/or experience Strong product line knowledge Ability to travel up to 50% We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
