This senior level environmental consultant will be instrumental in helping to support our Environmental project work in Hillsboro, OR.  This exciting position is responsible for technical consulting responsibilities, so we are looking for a unique individual who has Senior level technical EHS expertise in Environmental Compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of written Environmental programs.
• Oversee environmental permitting projects (e.g. air, water, waste, etc.)
• Performing Environmental audits and site assessments
• Supporting technical environmental training.
• Conduct site visits and prepare SPCC and SWPP plans and programs.
• Working knowledge in management systems.
• Supporting sustainability projects.
• Performing project management and internal customer management.
• Mentoring other consultants in their specialty areas.
• Providing quality review.
• Participating in recruitment efforts for region and directly related efforts in other regions. Strong leadership skills to eventually help mentor others in sales.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Initiative for and success with business development and client service
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly effective verbal and written communication plus senior level presentation and negotiation skills
• Self-sufficient in current office applications (eg MS Office)

Requirements: 

• Prior EHS consulting experience required
• Prior experience and knowledge of Environmental Compliance required
• Undergraduate degree in a Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineering
• A Master degree is a plus
• PE in Civil Engineering a plus
• 5-7 + years of related experience in preferably in a consulting firm Highly organized and self-motivated Critical thinking ability
